Passed the second interview to teach English! This time I spoke with a colleague of my last interviewer, and the interview was only about 28 minutes long. Like my previous interviewer, this interviewer also had a great personality. She also asked me a few questions about my current job as a peer adviser at the University of Minnesota’s Learning Abroad Center. I guess the institution that she works at has a new study abroad center, and she told me that she works with them and often visits the the website of the study abroad abroad office that I work at for ideas because it is world renowned for its study abroad department.
After those questions, she went into more of the interview questions. Overall, it was a pretty simple interview, and she’s going to talk with her colleague, my previous interviewer, about moving me on to interview 3. I’m so excited!! I should be getting an email from the actual staff of the school I may be teaching at, if hired, in Korea sometime next week to schedule an interview date and time. This will be the most important interview.
Of course, I’ll let you guys know how it goes, and I’ll come back to this post and insert the date and time for the interview so you know when I have and therefore will know when to expect the results! (UPDATE | Interview scheduled for Monday night!)
WISH ME LUCK!
PS | In case you were wondering, I did study abroad in South Korea for a year during my Junior year of college. I went to Korea University in Seoul.
